Make a table runner while learning the basics of quilting. Accurate cutting, piecing etc. will be the focus of this beginning class. Fabrics – I used 4 fabrics for this runner. You need 1/2 yard for one of your main fabrics (this one will be your border as well). Then you need 1/4 yard each of two more coordinating fabrics. For the background – which is the white fabric in the picture, you need ½ yard. I like to purchase a little additional fabric in case of cutting errors. That is up to you. For example the 2 fabrics that require ¼ yard – I would purchase 1/3 yard or even ½ yard. Bring your machine (that you know how to use) along with neutral color thread (I use a light gray). Please have a bobbin pre wound before class. You may bring your own notions such as a rotary cutter, cutting mat, a square ruler (12 1/2 inch is best), and basic sewing needs - but if you do not have those, we have them for you to use!
